1.The applicant must be non-Chinese with a valid passport;

2.The applicant must be in good health;

3.The applicant must have no criminal record;

4.Requirement to Educational Background and Age:

(1) The applicant for Chinese language training must be over 17 years old;

(2) The applicant for a bachelor’s degree programme must be over 18 years old and must have a high school graduation certification;

(3) The applicant for a master’s degree programme must be over 18 years old and must have a bachelor’s degree;

(4) The applicant for a doctoral degree programme must be over 18 years old and must have a master’s degree;

5. An effective HSK certificate (level 3 or above) is required for an applicant for the degree programme. Those who have no certificate must attend a one-year Chinese training programme before starting their majors.
